Employee Self-Service
The Employee Self Service (ESS) portal is a fantastic tool that offers the City of Mandeville employees 24/7 access to their employment information. If you need assistance logging into the ESS system, please contact your Human Resources Department.
Ethics Training
Louisiana Revised Statute 42:1170, requires all public employees to complete one hour of training on the Code of Governmental Ethics each calendar year. In addition, each City of Mandeville official and board/commission member must complete the required ethics training each calendar year.

More information, including a Summary of the Ethics Code, can be found on the Louisiana Ethics Administration Program website. For more information on prohibitions, please review Louisiana Revised Statute 42:1111-112.
If you have any questions regarding governmental ethics and/or conflicts of interest, you may contact Joanna Anderson at hr@cityofmandeville.com. You may also contact the Ethics Administration Program directly at 1-800-842-6630.
Sexual Harassment Prevention Training
The City of Mandeville recognizes that the implementation of a policy prohibiting sexually inappropriate workplace behavior alone may not be sufficient to prevent and address such behavior. To support this policy and create a culture wherein employees willingly report concerns and lodge complaints, the City requires all employees to successfully complete training on this policy upon hiring and on a continuing basis thereafter. At a minimum, the City of Mandeville mandates the following training for its employees:
Upon hiring, all new employees will be provided a copy and instructed to carefully review this policy. Within thirty (30) days of the hiring date, all new employees are required to meet with the Human Resources Director or other individual so designated to discuss any concerns or uncertainties regarding their responsibilities under this policy. The employee and Human Resources Director are required to sign the attached Acknowledgement and Certification to verify that this process has been successfully completed.
Within thirty (30) days of the hiring date, all new employees are required to successfully complete Sexual Harassment Prevention training as assigned by the Human Resources Director.
Annually, all employees are required to complete the assigned training on sexual harassment.
Within thirty (30) days of attaining a supervisory position, all new supervisors are required to complete the designated training on sexual harassment assigned to management personnel. This training, which emphasizes identifying, preventing, and responding to sexually inappropriate behavior, is thereafter to be completed annually.
Additionally, each City of Mandeville official and board/commission member must complete the required sexual harassment prevention training each calendar year, as mandated by LA R.S. 42:342.
