Trailhead Museum
675 Lafitte Street. Mandeville Trailhead & Cultural Interpretive Center. Built in 1998 on the site of the former rail depot, and a stop along the Rails to Trails conversion, the Tammany Trace in Old Mandeville, the Trailhead features a Cultural Interpretive Museum with a hands-on museum of Mandeville history including short films, touch screens and dioramas; A splash fountain enjoyed by children throughout the community March through October; A lookout tower with a spectacular view of Historic Old Mandeville and an amphitheater which is the hub of yearly activity including concerts, cultural and community events including our Saturday Community market throughout the year.
